Wasatch Crest in the Park Record

We’re proud to be a part of the Park Record’s recently published piece titled, “Opioid overdoses prompted united effort to address behavioral health issues” by Pamela Manson. The insightful article sheds light on our community’s journey towards addressing substance use disorders and mental health issues. Following the tragic loss of two teens to op ioid overdoses in 2016, our community rallied together to enact meaningful change.

From the creation of the Summit County Mental Wellness Strategic Plan to the formation of vital organizations like CONNECT Summit County and the Mental Health Alliance, we’ve witnessed the power of partnership in tackling these complex challenges head-on.

While setbacks like recent legal proceedings remind us of the work ahead, we’re inspired by the progress made in improving mental health services and addiction treatment. At Wasatch Crest Treatment, we’re committed to being part of the solution, offering support, resources, and compassionate care to those on their journey to recovery.

Standout Quotes

“I really wanted to live a fruitful life where I contributed to this world, and I was truly my best self.” – Former Wasatch Crest client
