Wasatch Crest’s Official Trail

The Birdie Shot Trail in Wasatch Mountain State Park

youtube-video-thumbnail

We’ve partnered with Wasatch Mountain State Park to adopt the park’s Birdie Shot Trail. On monthly outings, Wasatch Crest’s clients and alumni maintain the trail and protect surrounding resources.

Led by Wasatch Crest’s Director of Recreational Therapy, the trail work outings combine service, teamwork, and creative problem-solving. By helping to maintain the trail, clients and alumni work towards a common goal and form a connection with the community, all while enjoying our surrounding mountain landscape.

Wasatch Crest’s adopted Birdie Shot trail is open to hiking, mountain biking, and trail running. It begins near the Huber Grove parking lot inside Wasatch Mountain State Park and climbs up to meet the WOW trail. Take on the trail as a short hike, or turn your adventure into a longer trek by connecting it with the WOW trail.
