The Joint Commission (JCO) is an independent, not-for-profit organization which accredits and certifies nearly 21,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States. JCO accreditation is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting the highest level of performance standards in health care.
Joint Commission state-of-the-art standards are the basis of an objective evaluation process and can help organizations measure, assess and improve performance. The standards focus on important patient, individual, or resident care and organization functions that are essential to providing safe, high-quality care
Wasatch Crest received this honor December 27th, 2017, approximately 15% of treatment centers across the nation are Joint Commissions Accredited.
This accreditation from The Joint Commission is Wasatch Crest’s acknowledgement for achieving and maintaining the highest standards and best practices in the treatment industry.

Our addiction recovery facility in Heber City, Utah, was built to help clients recover from substance abuse and co-occurring disorders as well as the attendant traumas associated with addiction. The eight-acre campus offers in-patient, out-patient and transitional and follow-up programs for alumni, with emphasis on family involvement.
Programs incorporate therapeutic modalities which emphasize recreational and outdoor activities designed to create a new story for the lives of each participant. Our new accreditation shows just how much we care about designing programs that make an impact on our patient’s lives.
