Wasatch Crest Treatment Unveils New Women’s Recovery Residence in Heber City, UT
HEBER CITY, Utah (May 2021) — Wasatch Crest Treatment opens a women’s recovery residence in Heber City, Utah, this month. Nestled in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountain Range and just a few minutes from Wasatch Crest’s main seven-acre campus, the new women’s residence can accommodate up to eight female clients.
An extension of its Uinta men’s sober living program, the new women’s recovery residence retains Wasatch Crest’s culture of compassion, community, adventure and healing. Female clients are able to continue their recovery journey in a supportive environment surrounded by women who have overcome similar circumstances.
“Leaving residential treatment can be an intimidating transition for clients. We are beyond thrilled to provide a non-hospital, alpine setting that allows our clients — both men and women — to continue healing and rebuilding their lives. Wasatch Crest’s Uinta sober living program focuses on helping clients transition smoothly from treatment back into daily life. The program also helps clients develop practical life skills such as establishing credit, creating a resume, obtaining employment, and finding a place to live post-treatment.
Uinta clients also have the opportunity to participate in evidence-based recreational therapy, community service outings, recovery meetings and alumni events. These activities help build a strong foundation for a vibrant, lasting life in recovery.
