Dear Family and Friends of Wasatch Crest Clients,

On behalf of our entire team at Wasatch Crest, thank you for entrusting us with your loved one’s care. We honor your trust and are committed to guiding them on a journey of healing, hope, and lasting recovery.

We understand that seeking help for substance use disorder is a significant and deeply personal decision. Our team is here to provide compassionate care, clinical excellence, and individualized support every step of the way.

What to Expect During Treatment

Learn how we help clients acclimate, how and when communication is permitted, and how to stay informed about your loved one’s progress.

Family Visitation & Support

Visitation Overview

In-Person Visits: Sundays, 1–4 PM

Family Group (Every Other Sunday): 3–4 PM (mandatory for clients)
Virtual Visits: Sundays, 1:30–4:30 PM (30 minutes with therapist approval)
Eligibility: Residential clients only (post-orientation)

Program Structure: Treatment Levels

Our level-based model helps clients progress through recovery with intention and purpose. Each stage is designed to meet the individual where they are and prepare them for the next step.

Level Overview

Orientation: Days 1–3 | Integration and acclimation
Level 1 – Reflection: Days 4–7 | Self-awareness and storytelling
Level 2 – Perspective: Days 8–14 | Values and emotional insight
Level 3 – Community: Days 14–21 | Relationships and sober support
Level 4 – Planning: Days 21–30 | Relapse prevention and aftercare
Level 5 – Action: Days 30–90 | Real-world application and independence

Family Support Resources

Al-Anon & Alateen

Find hope and healing through shared experience. These peer-led groups are designed for those affected by a loved one’s drinking.

Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness (USARA)

USARA offers free, Utah-based peer recovery and family support services. Their work helps individuals and families build strength through connection and advocacy.
