Lindsay Fenton, CMHC, is the Director of Utilization Review and a Primary Therapist at Wasatch Crest. She advocates for clients to obtain authorizations from insurance companies, so that they can receive the life-saving help of substance abuse treatment. She also specializes in treating trauma, and facilitates individual and group therapy sessions at Wasatch Crest.
Lindsay holds a Master of Science degree in clinical mental health counseling. She has nine years of experience working in the substance abuse treatment field and six years of experience working as an authorizations manager. Lindsay is trained in the trauma treatment method of Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
For Lindsay, the clients are her favorite part of working at Wasatch Crest. She enjoys working behind-the-scenes on clients’ behalf to obtain ongoing authorizations, so they can focus on their recovery. Lindsay feels fortunate to work within a collaborative clinical team that makes sure all clients are receiving personalized, holistic treatment.
