Matt shares how these experiences led him to Utah countercultures, introducing him to hardcore music, alcohol, and drug scenes throughout his teenage years.
He talks about selling marijuana, becoming addicted to opioids, and landing in Utah Prison. Matt also retells how his addiction ultimately escalated to the point of him habitually using heroin.
He describes the combative mindset he had when entering treatment and his decision to fully commit to recovery.
